Pumpkin and Apple Granola Bars

g full-fat soft cheese

tablespoons tinned pumpkin purée

Nature Valley™ Crunchy Oats & Honey Granola Bars

red apple, cored and diced

1/2
teaspoon maple syrup

Pinch of ground cinnamon

Beat the soft cheese and pumpkin purée together in a small bowl until smooth.

Spread 2 teaspoons of the mixture on each granola bar. Top with diced apple, drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.

Cover and chill any remaining pumpkin soft cheese mixture to use the next day, see Tip (it will keep in an airtight container for 2-3 days).
If you can’t find a tin of pumpkin purée in the supermarket, replace with smooth peanut butter for a nutty version.
Pumpkin flavoured soft cheese is a delicious spread. Try it on bagels, toast or crumpets.
