Pumpkin and Apple Granola Bars

Make a glorious dessert or snack time treat with Nature Valley™, pumpkin purée, apple and luscious soft cheese.

  • 200 g full-fat soft cheese
  • 4 tablespoons tinned pumpkin purée
  • 2 Nature Valley™ Crunchy Oats & Honey Granola Bars
  • 1/2 red apple, cored and diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon


  1. 1 Beat the soft cheese and pumpkin purée together in a small bowl until smooth.
  2. 2 Spread 2 teaspoons of the mixture on each granola bar. Top with diced apple, drizzle with maple syrup and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  3. 3 Cover and chill any remaining pumpkin soft cheese mixture to use the next day, see Tip (it will keep in an airtight container for 2-3 days).

    If you can’t find a tin of pumpkin purée in the supermarket, replace with smooth peanut butter for a nutty version.
    Pumpkin flavoured soft cheese is a delicious spread. Try it on bagels, toast or crumpets.
